I am 28 years old male suffering from hiatus hernia and calcium deficiency taking Nexpro Fast 40 before breakfast and after dinner, Motilium M (10) for three times in a day (after -breakfast,lunch,dinner),Gelusil 1/2 after meals,and Shelcal-HD at breakfast. It contains Domperidone and is most commonly used to treat symptoms of IBS, since it can increase the contractions of the stomach, and bowel. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, stomach pain, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

Cannot find anything anywhere identifying this. the nl is like squashed together, like the bottom of the L is coming off the N ...NL if that makse sense. what is it? ## Hello, Kate! How are you? I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I have some. They're Motilium generic/Domperidone 10mg (hence the D10 on one side). They are available over the counter in some countries. I do not know what the NL on the other side means.

Why should I take Mortilium M when I do not have vomiting problem ? ## Aside from vomiting, this medication is used (orally, rectally or intravenously,) generally to suppress nausea, or as a prokinetic agent. It has also been used to stimulate lactation, and has been found effective in the treatment of gastroparesis, a stomach motility condition. Furthermore it can be used in patients with Parkinson's disease because, unlike metoclopramide, this medication does not cross the blood-brain barrier. This drug, which is cheaply priced, relieves dysmotility, which doesn;t empty the stomach and doesn't moveyour food along into the bowel for elimination. This drug works, except it apparently doesn't cost enough, such as Nexium, etc., so they do not sell it in the U.S.A., only outside our country. I guess the rest of the world is stupid, according to the money making AMA/FDA. What a joke!!

Domperidone(dom-PER-i-done) is a medicine that increases the movements or contractions of the stomach and bowel. Domperidone is also used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by other drugs used to treat Parkinson's Disease. Not available commercially in U.S.
