Malarone Overview

The drug combination atovaquone/proguanil (INNs, trade names Malarone, Malanil) is an antimalarial medication used in both the treatment and prevention of malaria. Atovaquone alone is not indicated for treatment or prevention of malaria as monotherapy (i.e., without proguanil). Atovaquone/proguanil has been commercially available from GlaxoSmithKline since 2000, and its patent expired in 2013.[2] Malarone has applications for treating chloroquine-resistant malaria.[3&a...

Round White Pill G Over 1 on one side other nothing

one side smooth and the other G over 1. The pill is round. ## white round pill with G over 1 on one side ## This is another one that I've spent several days checking for, off an on, and have run searches in all of our prescription drug resources, but I am just not locating anything on it. Can you tell me anything else about it? Is the G a capital letter? It it rounded, angular, stylized? Malanil/Malarone is actually often the preferred choice for malaria treatment or prophylaxis, because it's well tolerated and doesn't commonly cause problematic side effects and even among the ones that have been known to occur, itching isn't typically one of them. gx cn3 round pink tablet

small pink round tablet one face has nothing on it & the other face divided into two parts one has gx on it & the other part has cn3 on it ## I just recieved my supposedly vitamin d 50,000 IU prescribsion, but instead of the green oval gel capsules, I recieved a reddish brown tablet that had nothing on one side and on the other side it had a GX on the top and CM3 on the bottom. The pharmacist said it was an old version of vitamin d that they never switched out but I have no clue if this statement was true! I was just wondering if he was telling the truth, and if not then what the heck was I given? Please help ## I know you probably don't care anymore, but its Malarone, a drug used to prevent and cure malaria.
