Alavert Overview

Loratadine, sold under the brand name Claritin among others, is a medication used to treat allergies.[1] This includes allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and hives.[1] It is also available in combination with pseudoephedrine, a decongestant, known as loratadine/pseudoephedrine.[1] It is taken by mouth.[1] Common side effects include sleepiness, dry mouth, and headache.[1] Serious side effects are rare and include aller...

This pill is about 1 across with A-24 imprinted on the top ## I am looking for the same thing. I was told it was tylonel and just wanted to make sure. So if anyone knows that would be great. ## Comes from CVS it is for allergies. :) ## This is a 10mg Alavert (Loratadine) tablet that is used to treat allergies, as Jessica stated. (For details here is the NDC 00573-2620.) The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are there any questions?
