What Your Health Insurance Company Can Do For You
Updatedi was dropped by my doctor for not passing a drug screen, doing research on my own I figured out why I failed the test, it was so simple even for me to figure out and yet he couldnt or wouldnt do a little research of his own or believe me. Well after asking for a referral to a pain clinic and he said NO I decided to call my insurance provider which is BCBS and by passed everyone and went straight to a supervisor and told her my story. well looking at my history, which they can see everything you have done and your scripts, and right now they are investigating this doctor because of of my call to the insurance company. I have also sent a five page letter off to the licencing board to report this doctor. I dont know what will come of this but the insurance company was very interested in what this doctor had wrongfully accused me of being a druggie. So if you have been wronged by your doctor call your insurance provider, they have more power than the regular lay person has. Hope this helps some of you out there! and keep pushing for answers when wrongly accused!
