Hello, Jeffrey! How are you?

Jock itch is usually caused by a fungal infection. If you've been dealing with it for that long and can't really get rid of it, then that may not be what it is and it's time to consult a doctor to have it checked out.

The skin of your genitals can be very sensitive, so it could even be some type of allergy.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi. Thank you for your reply. I visited the dermatologist about 6-7 yrs ago. It went away but came back. I have been using dove soap, wash 2x day, use Lotrimin & try to be really clean. I'm really sick of this. Im trying to avoid the doctor again because of money. I'll take any suggestions you might have. Thank you again!
