Smoke Free
UpdatedOk ok I am so happy today i have been smoke free for a month now. i have been smoking for 15 years and i told my doctor look i need help, i cant do it alone. i have a 8 yr. old son and i am 29 yrs old. gosh i really want to live not just for myself but for my son. so my doctor told me about chantix and put me on it. i smoked the first week i was on the pill, that following 7 days was my quit date. i woke up that monday morning and gosh i so wanted a cig. but i knew nope i cant do it i have to be strong. so i didnt smoke and i had four cigarettes left. the pills really really curbed my urge. it is so awesome. its been a month and i havent smoked yet. to top it all off i just would like to brag about this pill its toooooooo awesome. i feel like a new person for real. i smell better, taste better and my energy level is thru the roof. lol! but i recommend this to anyone who been smoking years on end. it actually works! but the only disadvantage i have noticed, i cant stop eating, gosh i want to eat everything, but its ok a couple of pounds dont hurt. started eating more healthy, salads, fruit, and oh i rack up on mints, lollipops, gum, when ever i have an urge i throw a mint in the mouth, it works. Thick is in anyway right? lol! people just have to be strong, not only is the pill helping but emotinally and physically u have to be able to do it. the first week sucks by the way but after that it gets better. Yay! if u slip i suggest u continue to take those pills.
