Well, this is a very low dose, it can be used in children. As long as it is being prescribed by a doctor and they are monitoring the child with regular appointments, I wouldn't see anything to worry about. A lot of drugs like this have off-label uses that the doctor may not about but they aren't listed in the online monographs.

Is the child slightly hyper? Or maybe anxious or nervous sometimes? Because this can also have a calming effect or cause drowsiness and relaxation.
