Norflox 400 Suitability

Hello,
I recently visited India and I came away with diarrhea and abdominal cramping. While in India a pharmacist provided me with NorFlox 400. My question: Is this the appropriate pharmaceutical? My research seems to indicate that NorFlox is more appropriate for urinary infections. Can you please advise. Thank you.

Hi Richard I lived in India for seven years and was prescribed Norflox 400 from one of the best doctors in the country and it helped in fact it was the only thing that did. What you are possibly reading about online is Norfloxicin or similar names which are prescribed for urinary infections. I am not a doctor but I think this might not be the same as the Norflox. I took Norflox 400 whenever I had a flash of Delhi belly which was fairly often and I never had any side effects. usually the problems cleared up within a couple of days.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
