Hi I am 40 years old and have trouble sleeping since I was a child due to horrible pain inv my legs and hips. I have gone 3 full days before with no sleep because the pain is so bad. I had some kidney stones removed just before Christmas and was prescribed norco 10-325. I broke those tablets in half and after the second day I realized that the pain I have suffered with for over 20 years was relieved with this medication. Unfortunately I ran out 2 days ago and I am now again unable to ignore the pain in my legs and find sleep. Help!!! Is there a doctor here in montgomery that would possibly prescribe this medication without assuming I am an addict? I also do not have insurance and limited income.

If you have no insurance, it's going to be tough, because it makes it harder for a doctor and pharmacy to track things and make sure you aren't doctor and pharmacy hopping.

The expense is also an issue, because under the new regulations, for long-term treatment of chronic pain, you're going to need to see a specialist.

Do you have any low-income clinics in your area? They might be able to help you.

Hi....no definitely not doctor hopping. The thing is that both my mother and sister were diagnosed with fibromyalgia and im pretty sure that may be what is going on with me because the symptoms match up to theirs...I just cannot afford the drs visit that would possibly allow me to be tested. Can this disease be diagnosed in one visit or are there a series of tests?
