i too am on methadone and trazadone and combined they absolutely will give you a false positive on a drug tests. The positives may vary from methamphetamine to benzodiazepam to ecstasy. Trazadone messes up the entire test for me.

Trazadone has been known to cause false positives in drug tests. It may show up as a benzodiazepine. Amoxicillin may also cause false positives in a drug screens as well. The best method for getting an accurate druyg test result is by giving blood. Costly, yet very accurate.

Have had trazadone and methadone give me a false positive for benzos, but have heard of it giving other false positives to other things as well...the clinic was also going to take away my take homes at the time as well...the only way to get a 100% accurate test is by a blood test, so i ended up paying for the test myself
