Is Naproxen 500mg A Muscle Relaxer

I would like to know if naproxen 500mg is a muscle relaxer. I'm taking it but my work place says I cannot work with it in my system

Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.

This is not one that most companies worry about someone taking, but policies may vary and they are allowed to restrict whatever they deem appropriate.

What kind of Mickey mouse company do you work for? That is a over the counter medication!!! What they gonna tell you next you can't take aspirn or multi vitamins??? I really don't know if you are being serious or not.

Hey there! Naproxen is the stronger version of Aleve... Just like over the counter ibuprofen is only 200mg. You have to get a script from your dr. if you need a stronger form of it...(like 600mg or 800mg). Naproxen is a NSAID. So unless your work does not allow you taking Advil or Aleve, then I don't know. I would question that. Everyone takes the both of them for minor pains.
