Hi, I am 20 yrs old and I have the problem of irregular periods. Either it doesn't come for months and months n when it comes, it continues to for about a month. Can I please get a reason and solution to dis problem? I've been consulting a homeopath for three months.. He has given me several medicines: Lachesis 25, iodium, uspilago maydis (phi), phosphorous 25, iodium 5x.

Most commonly such an issue is caused by a hormonal imbalance, as reported by the NIH, the issue you've described often occurs due to your not producing enough progesterone, which means you likely aren't ovulating each month.

Are you on any other medications?

The best thing to do, actually, would be to consult an actual doctor, you may need to take a hormonal supplement for a few months to get things back on track.
