thanks so much for the info. ive never actually had much hope on getting rid of hcv until now. reading so much about how sucessful incivek is gives me new hope. please keep us posted on your journey on these meds because im interested on how its going to be. can i still work? will everyone know something is going on with me? will i lose all my hair? not that its important but considering im a hairdresser id like like to know what to expect.

As to getting the medication, that would require a doctor's prescription and approval, just as with any other medication.

And yes, the assistance programs are real and actually do help many people receive their medications for little or no cost, if they aren't insured and are low income.

For more information on it, you can call them toll free at 855-837-8394

Getting insurance to pay isn't that hard, if you have a good Dr., they will go to bat for you with insurance company.Obviously it's quite expensive and even after insurance pays their part, there's still a pretty big co-pay, mine was over $600 per month per Rx. You can get co-pay financial aid from the medicine companys, I'll include a link to each:
incivek.com/copay-assistance-program

ribapak.com/support.html

Patient Authorization and Notice of Release of Information form

They each paid the full co-pay for me, but you can't be on Medicare or Medicade. Good luck!
