I took hydroxyzine that expired in 2009. its 2014 now. whats gonna happen

Hello, Ash! How are you doing?

This medication doesn't turn toxic, once expired, it just loses effectiveness. Thus, it will most likely not work as well as it did, when it was new, but it shouldn't cause any harm.

However, if you require such a medication, it would be best to dispose of your expired stock and get a new prescription.

Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, sedation and dry mouth.
