I have been using urimax d for several years. It has made the flow normal but I like to give up using it. When I gave it up I felt urine flow not normal. I am 77+ and physically weak. Hence shall I continue for life long?

I have little bit enlarged bladder for past many years. Two years back, I went to Urologist for consultation as frequency of urination was more.He advised capsule Urimax 0.4mg @ one /day after meals. I continued the medication for few months and then left. My problem was reduced to great extent during that period.
Now, the night frequency of urination has increased. I want to start taking same meditation again at same rate. Will it be OK ? and how long?

No problem. Continue this medication.

You should continue the medication for as long as your doctor instructs you to do so.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and urinary retention.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 57 and had been diagnosed with BPH the past 3 years. I am using Uromax 0,4mg. Symptoms dessapeared and no longer frequenting the toilet at night and do not experience any ED. PSA is fluctuating between 5,63 - 6,45. Is there any chance that I may stop this treatment?
