Rabeprazole For Gallstones And Liver Pain

There is only one stone in my gall bladder and I am always having a burning pain in the upper part of my stomach / liver, and there is also swelling in my stomach as if I am pregnant, but I am only 23 years old. I am taking the Rabeprazole DSR tablets in the morning or whenever I am having pain in my stomach. Please advise me on what I should do moving forward.

When I was younger, I had a terrible burning pain on and off in the upper part of my abdomen and swelling too, just as you described. I finally couldn't take it anymore and went into the hospital and found out I had gall stones and because I ignored it, they were about to pass into my liver and I could have died! My suggestion is that you go to a doctor and tell him you suspect you have a stone in your gall bladder! Then he will most likely will want to remove your gall bladder. It is not like back in the 1980's when I had to have mine removed. They had to cut a 7 inch incision and remove it and staple my stomach. I know of 4 people that have had their gall bladders removed within the past 2 years. They do it by laser surgery. Two of them didn't even have to stay overnight at the hospital. The other two stayed overnight for observation and went home the next day. PLEASE, don't rely on a pill, you are playing with your life. If it is the cost of the medical/hospital fees that is stopping you, there are hospitals that won't deny you treatment. When you get the bill, call them and tell them you can't afford it and you'll pay $5 to $20 per month towards the balance. Or throw the bill away for Heaven's sake. There isn't any debtor's jail. Please, please take my suggestion. What I told you is 100% true! Good luck!

Puchi, the Chinese Apple Therapy suggested by gupta may work, but when you are talking about your liver, my advice is that you really should see a doctor and have it checked out. You may not need surgery, but if I didn't see a doctor and have the surgery, I wouldn't be typing this right now because I'd be dead. (Please read my other post. It is as true as the day is long!)
