my 9 years daughter is suffer with encephalitis since march-2006, recently Dr. has adviced to tak Eptoin 50 mg thrise a day with 1000 mg Levora twise a day. My wory is to control the fits also without any side effects. Please confirm is there any side effects of taking this combination

My 16 months son is suffering with frontal hematoma with fits since 25-09-2010, Dr. has adviced to take Eptoin 30 mg twice a day. My wory is to control the fits also without any side effects. Please confirm is there any side effects of taking this medicine.
