Hi, i've been on the triphasil pill for more than a year now. I'm currently finished with my white pill as of yesterday and started with the cream this morning but for the past 3 to 4 days I had bleeding; not bad like a pinkish color, but like spottings and then it's gone, then all of the sudden it's back. What can it be?

That can be a normal side effect of oral contraceptives, especially if you are under stress, not sleeping well, or your own natural hormones have fluctuated and is generally nothing to worry about, unless your doctor thinks there is reason for concern.

Other side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.

Is there anything else I can help with?
