Why Is My Thyroid Suddenly Working

Hi all, after many years on 250mg of thyroxine my thyroid level is really high and the dr has reduced the thyroxine to 100mg a day which is fine BUT why has my thyroid suddenly started working.

It is difficult to say, it may just be due to age and the natural levels of hormones in your body changing. We do change regularly with time.
