Verpamil, Vera-til, Univer
UpdatedI have received an e-mail from Teva UK, who produce verapamil capsules under the Univer name, that production has been interupted. They hope to resume in the fourth quarter of 2016. As I need two 180mg slow release tablets per day I queried my GP for a replacement. I have started on Vera-Til SR 120mg tablets from Tillomed. As I need 180mg I take one and a half tabs. Not so convenient but so far no side effects.

It is risky to be cutting those tablets, since they are time released, it could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once, which may result in overdose.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
Is there anything else I can help with?
