Hello, Tee! How are you?
What is the expiration date that is listed on the packaging?
Solid forms of medications usually have a longer shelf life than liquids, but they can lose efficacy over time. Thus, I'd not advise giving it to such a young child, unless her pediatrician approves.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
