I found a small round white pill with the imprint M7. All of my searches showed M77, M77, M724, M71, and so on. Does anybody know what this pill is? None of the imprints are faded away either. ## Hi Ernie, The closest match I've been able to find is Myambutol (ethambutol) 400 mg. Manufacturer: Lederle Laboratories It is a round white pill with M7 on the front with a score between the M and 7, as well as two fancy L's on the back. If that description doesn't match your pill, the only conclusion I can come to is that it may be manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication. This medication is used in the treatment of mycobacterium avium-intracellulare, prophylaxis; tuberculosis, active; mycobacterium avium-intracellulare, treatment and belongs to...

i missed 3days of takinf rifa 4 e275 since they were not available, is there any danger about that only today i got them ## Rifafour is a combination bactericidal antibiotic used in the treatment of tuberculosis. Because you missed a few days in your treatment, the infection could prove to be more resistant the next time you started taking the medication. And may also take longer to fight off, depending on your immune system response. In general most antibiotics are prescribed for 7-10 days, but you may have to consider taking it a bit longer even shortly after your symptoms subside, since you had to skip so many days. You can read more details about this medication by following the link below: home.intekom.com/pharm/hmr/rifaf275.html I hope this info helps!

I was prescribed a one a day pill for a year prescription drug back in 1992 for the exposure of tuberculosis. The 4 needle prick test that they give you and come back and check a few days later to see if the skin is still raised. I would like to know the names of the prescriptions that were given to back during that time. Thank you for your time or any information you may be able to provide. ## I'm sorry, but there are quite a few medications that have been used for this, both in former times and currently, so we have no way of knowing what you were given back then. Have you tried consulting the school you went to, or the doctor you were treated by at that time?

There is nothing listed about any of them causing Hypotension, however, they have been known to have an effect on teh central nervous system, in some cases, so there is a remote possibility. is rheumatism/gout a side effect of myrin p forte? My mother had swelling in her knees and hands after taking the medicine for two weeks. ## Has a doctor diagnosed her condition as gout? This medication contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat Tuberculosis. They don't cause gout themselves, however if someone already has an active case of it, they will make it worse. So, if that's what it is, it's likely that she already had it and the medication aggravated the condition.

i am taking myrin p from 4 months as i was diagnosed with tb, now i want to get pregnant but want to know is it safe getting pregnant while taking myrin p ## You actually shouldn't try to get pregnant, until you are certain that the Tuberculosis has been cleared up. It can be dangerous to the fetus and the baby may be born infected. Have you consulted your doctor about this? Most of these types of medications also cross the placenta and the breast milk, so they aren't always safe to use while pregnant or breast feeding. Myrin P contains: Ethambutol HCl 275 mg, rifampicin 150 mg, INH 75 mg, pyrazinamide 400 mg More information here:
