Like many of you, I struggled through finding the best anti-depressant for my journey. What I've learned is what may work well for you, may not have the same outcome with my body chemistry. SSRI's are most successful in treating my anxiety symptoms; however, the loss for words (brain fog) impacts my professional togetherness. I also experience bladder urgency, fatigue and passivity on them. I've also tried SNRI's with similar outcomes. Thus, whenever my doctor offered Trintellix, I openly gave it a try. Albeit, a lack of alleviation to my anxiety level, this is the first medication that doesn't promote brain fog or fatigue. I promise, I do not work for the company, I just wanted to foster hope. Hello, My husband has been depressed for almost 4 years. He can't sleep and and is angry all the time. He's had every test under the sun done but nothing is abnormal on a physical level. He sees a therapist who has prescribed him every type of medication out there and nothing has worked. He's been taking adderrall which works to a point but it does not help the anger. Fast forward to a month ago when he was prescribed Trintellix for the first time. We were both skeptical but it actually worked WONDERS. He was happy, motivated and taking control of his life again. I was over-the-moon because I felt like I finally got my husband back. Today he comes home from his parents in tears and tells me that the Trintellix stopped working. Now we are both so scared that things will go ba...
