To All Those In Pain Who Understand
UpdatedI'm a 46yr old mother to a daughter who has a rare disease and has had twelve brain surgeries. I was involved in a bad car wreck in 1985. Ironically, I had just turned fifteen two days previously. I've had multiple back surgeries, many trips to Dr's. I went a pain Dr. 3X's a week for a whole year. They would have start IV's and the whole spill. I've had a Spinal Cord Stimulator that was unsuccessful. Now, I'm at a point that my back is beyond fixing. I need at least five disc replaced, I have total nerve damage in my left leg. The right leg is its must as bad, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease in every level. I also have scar tissue compressing my spinal column. I've had hundreds of injections, myelograms, EMG's and the list goes on. I'm going to a new pain Dr. and he's giving me OxyContin 15mg three times a day. It just isn't cutting it. I've been on so much potent medicine since I've been fifteen yrs old. What can I do to convince him I need a lot stronger medicine?
