Subutex Drug Test

I have been on subutex for over a year and have not taken opiates in that time. I have a really good job and they are now doing a drug test today urine / hair sample test I am the sole provider for my family and do not want to lose my job. I need help on how to pass my test. I take between 4mg and 6 mg a day, I am working on getting off the subutex but at this point I have no choice bc the withdraws will be terrible and I work 12 hr shifts 60 hrs a week... please help!

Your job can't fire you for being an addict. It's discrimination if they do. Often, the lab will call & give you a chance to explain any positive results, and with good explanation they will relay to your employer that you're not positive. Even if they did, you have a legit reason & they can't do anything about it. Addiction is a mental illness and just like other illnesses,we didn't ask for it. Therefore, you can't lose your job over it. Good luck but don't worry.

My brother has been off of subutex for 28 days. Will he pass a drug screen? I am not familiar with subutex but he seems to be doing fine.
