I have had a bad skin reaction to the treatment PEGASYS for hepatitus . My skin is dry, itchy, scaly and sore. Can anybody suggest anything to help calm and reduce my reaction?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Since you do have a serious medical condition and are undergoing this treatment, you should check with your doctor to see what might be safe for you to use.
There are certain medications, or topical applications that may help, but most are processed through the liver, so they could potentially cause you problems.
Have you talked to your doctor about it?
