I am taking Amox Tr K Clv 875 125 Mg Tab for a strep throat and started having severe headache after taking this medication. Is this a side effect? Thanks!

Hi Angel,

Amoxicillin may cause headaches in some patients. This side effect may be temporary until the body has time to adjust to amoxicillin. I've also read about others experiencing what they described as 'extreme' headaches too, so you're definitely not alone on this one.

How long have you been taking it for?

I'm taking AMOX TR-K CLV 875-125 mg.I have to take 1 tablet twice a day. I'm on my 4th day and i'm experiencing vaginal irritation. Is that a side affect from taking this medication?

My God this is the first time I have taken this drug but I have not read anything good about it. It is scary. I may not take anymore and if I feel different tomorrow call my doctor and tell his this crap is BAD.
