zippysgoddess..you are mentioning the GENERIC form or active ingredient, however, the actual pill she has is skelaxin, the brand name.

Yes, exactly. IF she needs to find more information about the drug it is best to know the name brand as well as the generic and the dosage. When identifying pills for people, you should always include as much information as possible. You had already posted the name brand, so I just filled in the other details and the image.

it's usually best to give people what they ask for..she was only asking to identify the pill, i guess she trusted her own judgment from there. it sounds like zippsygoddess must be a pharmacist like i am.

No, not a pharmacist, but I am a researcher. Since the guidelines under the post ask for as much info as possible, I like to include as much as I can, that way if someone needs more info on a drug, it is easier to find.
