My husband has been a PD pasient for 4 years. He is taking rivoltril 0.05 in the evening because of his feet burning and feeling dead. He was suppose to have a knee prostheses removed that has gone wrong but after taking blood the Dr said he is a high risk to operate on and want to talk to his nephrologist first. Can the rovoltril have a bad affect on his blood? ## Hi, Martha! If his doctor wants to talk to his nephrologist, then that means the problem isn't something directly related to his blood, but to something that showed up in his blood work. Most likely something showing a strain or further damage to his kidneys. Has he seen his nephrologist yet to see what the problem is?

am taking symdex D just this morning and i feel really dizzy..i had irritating cough for a month and i already taken lots of cough medicine..i think my cough is due to climate. am taking rivotril at night..does taking symdex D can affect my health? tnx. ## I am having difficulty finding information on this medication, I have discovered that it contains Paracetamol and Phenylpranolamine, but it seems there is also a third ingredient and I cannot find out what it is. However, based on those ingredients, the dizziness can be a normal side effect, as well as nausea and drowsiness. In the U.S. Phenylpropanolamine is no longer available without a prescription, because it was found to greatly increase the risk of stroke in your women. Are there any other questions or comments?

klonopin when i take they work not so with rivitrol ## Klonopin and Rivotril both contain the same active ingredient, which is Clonazepam, a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. The only thing I can think of that may cause it is due to the fact that Rivotril must be obtained from outside the U.S. and since it is not regulated, like U.S. approved medications are, there may be some differences in the quality and manufacturing process. Are there any questions or comments?

6 ## I was given rivitrol for restless leg syndrome, and it has worked. ## I believe you are all referring to Rivotril which is the European brand name for Clonazepam. ## yes, sorry I was referring to rivotril. What is the difference, with a name so much the same? ## I guess it was just a typo, but probably talking about the same med :) So you say it has worked well for you? Were there any side effects when you took it? Roy ## no side effects, and it worked wonders, I was nearly at my wits end, tried other treatments, think the doc thought I was imagining the restless legs that I had. Been taking them for near on a year, one a day, very small dosage 500mcg. Cheers.
