Took Ritalin on Friday, had a UA that was sent to the lab on Monday. Will i pass? ## I took ritalin on tuesday and I have a drug test on friday. Will I pass that test? ## I am on lactulose (3-4 tablespoons daily). I also take Ritalin 20 mg 3x's daily. The lactulose runs through me like water daily non-stop. My doctor had me take a urine test and the Ritalin didn't show up in my urine. I gave her a urinalysis 48 hours after taking my last Ritalin. Could the lactulose be the reason why it didn't show up? ## I took 10mg of Ritalin at 0800. Will it show up in a 5 panel urine test at 10:30? I keep finding information on how long it is in your body, but I want to know how quickly its presence appears in urine after taking it and if it will show up on a standard test? ## What are t...

This pill is nasty. It is described as SR by the manufacturer (slow or sustained release). I have been taking Millen 4 x 20 per day with no problems. Was this pill dispensed as a mistake by the pharmacy or by the doctor. I took less than two and didn't get a wink of sleep. Markings are Sandoz peach, scored, 790, SZ or ZS. The bottle says SR. It has taken me so long to get to get to the combination of pills I am at that if I rock the boat, I am scared that the whole research of a group of safe pills will be in jeopardy. I can cut back on the Sandoz without a problem, no odd effects as described on the net, ## Just discovered that I have been wasting years -- and tasks undone -- by taking generic Ritalin manufactured by Sandoz (not time release). Hasn't done anything for me and my...

Is this generic for Ritalin its a yellow round pill with v on one side and4578 On the other . ## Hello, Ann! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Methylphenidate, which is a generic for Ritalin. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and weight loss. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Be careful. I found an unmarked vial with some pills in it. V 4578 is ritalin. I thought it was klonopin 0.5. That is V 4576. Good thing I looked it up. I would have taken an amphetamine at bedtime thinking it was an anti-anxiety med to help me sleep. When in doubt, always look it up. ## Methylphenidate (ritalin) ...

Please advise. My grandson is 9 years old and has been diagnosed with ADHD. He's on ritalin but his parents only give it to him when he's in school. Should they keep him on it year-round? He is not controllable when he's not taking it. ## These medications really do work best, when taken continuously, as prescribed. However, the final decision on that is up to the parents and the child's doctor. Have they said why they don't give it to him, when he isn't in school? They may just want to avoid some of the possible side effects, such as the anorexia and insomnia that it can cause. ## I was just put on ritalin for lack of motivation and depression. I also take xanax, zoloft and zyprexa. What is the difference between adderall and ritalin?

i found this small white pill in my kids backpack please help me find out what it is! AB on oneside and CG on the other.. ## From what I've been able to find, this is a foreign version of Ritalin, which is used to treat ADHD, and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and anorexia. Has anyone else seen this pills?

white capsule pill what is inside it ## This capsule is manufactured by Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as being a 20mgs Focalin capsule, so it is similar to, but not the same as Ritalin. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and weight loss. Is there anything else I can help with?

can someone tell me if this is ritalin ## Based upon personal experience, believe round white scored tablet A | B CG to be Ritalin 10 mg, non-US pharmaceutical manufacture. ## I cannot guarantee that this information is accurate, but others have identified it as containing 10mgs of Methylphenidate, which is a generic for Ritalin. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and weight loss. Is anyone else familiar with this tablet? ## I have checked my 10mg Ritalin by Novartis tablets purchased with the required script and authorization here in Australia. Taken freshly out of the blister pack they show the CG on one side with A|B on the other. So I can very confidently say that in Australia a...

Why does my blue Ritalin 10mg tablet turn my mouth blue when I take it? It stains my fingers, teeth & tongue. Why is that? ## Can you please answer a few more questions for clarification - Are you taking the actual brand Ritalin, or its generic equivalent? Regardless, can you please check your prescription label and try to post the NDC code so that it could be possible to check the inactive ingredients listed for that specific version? The reason I ask, is because in checking the NDC database for Ritalin 10 mg, what comes up is a greenish pill with the inscription CIBA on one side, and the number 3 on the other (NDC Code 0078-0440). Just want to make sure that we're talking about the same pill here. Lastly, if I may ask, is this your first Ritalin prescription? Or, if you have b...

I took 60 mg of Ritalin in a course of three days and didn't have anything for three days after, but on the third day I had a drug screen from the methadone clinic. Will it show up? Before that I have been clean for almost two years. I have never failed a drug test since I've been going to the clinic. My sobriety means everything and since I had that slip I'm worried to death. I can't sleep or eat. I'm afraid I'm going to lose everything including my family if I failed. Please help me and let me know if I'm going to be ok. Thanks ## I am assuming you had a urine drug screen!! Amphetamine has a detection period of about 1-2 days (approx) in a urine drug test. My best educated guess would be that you will be negative on the clinic test. If they did a Hair Drug ...

Is this actually generic Ritalin? I have looked online everywhere and since there is no other imprint I've had no luck.. Please help! ## Based on my research, there aren't any Ritalin capsules (of any dosage) that come close to this description. Where did you get the pill from? It sounds to me like an illicit, foreign, or fake tablet; for if it were real and US made, you would at least be able to Google it. However I'm not sure if other countries also make this brand of methylphenidate. Has anyone else come across this pill? ## Get a drug panel from CVS - one wth amphetamines. Add some of the powder & some luke warm water to see if it comes up as an amphetamine.

I live in Kansas. I have taken Ritalin for about a decade for ADD. I am a 53 year old male. My favorite shrink (sorry, I cannot spell the correct term) retired about 5 years ago. It took me a few years to find a shrink I liked. For the last 3 years I have been using the same shrink. I am also DX'd with ADD and small fiber neuropathy (SFN). I live in a small town (Less than 30K). I had to reach out 2.5 hours to find a shrink that would prescribe Ritalin. We have a good relationship. I saw him two weeks ago. For the last year (maybe more) he has written me 6 post-dated scripts in a row. This due to the long drive and to help keep my office visit costs down. I am disabled and have a fixed income. Additionally, SFN is quite fatiguing. So the drive itself is challenging for me. I am also...

I am desperate for someone to be able to assist me in clarifying a Ritalin hair follicle test conducted on my hair. My hair was sent off to a laboratory in France as no-one in my country tests for Ritalin or does hair follicle testing, hence I cannot get any assistance or explanation on the results (this was a personal test not work related). Because of what the results returned as, I have now been accused of having a secret drug addiction which has, and is ruining my life and I am absolutely distraught and devastated. My hair was broken down into month by month sections, i.e. 0-1cm for one month, 1-2cm for the second month and 2-3cm for the 3rd month. The results returned readings of 3, 5 and 8pg/mg respectively The cut off levels for the test were 2 LOQ. I did in fact take some Ritali...

I'm on 3 of the 20 mg Ritalin and I had to go for a month without them. I was more sick than when I quit Oxycontin. Why I went without the Ritalin is because my doctor went on vacation for a month and forgot to write me a refill. I never knew that Ritalin could make you feel such bad withdrawals. ## It is a stimulant and stopping such a high dose abruptly can cause withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and chills. How are you doing, now? Are things better? Are you on any other medications?

What do they look like ## Hello, Tt! How are you? There are actually a couple on the market, manufactured by different companies, so each tablet looks different, they also vary according to dosage. Can you please post back with the markings on the ones you're questioning? If so, I'll be happy to look it up for you to see what they contain. Thanks! (This one may be hard to find..) back in the 80s I was one of the many children misdiagnosed with ADD ("sorry I finished your boring school work faster than everyone else!), and eventually got put into some test program at a local hospital for a summer for it. This, after ritalin did nothing for my condition. :p. One of the pills they gave us I remember fairly distinctly: small hexagon shaped with an H stamped out of the middle. Damn thing made joints lock up on me if moved the wrong way. (Ex: neck would lock if I looked up too far, and had to roll my head to either side to see forward again) So, I really wanna know, wtf did they give me??

New to the area and looking for a doctor who won't be a pain about prescribing Ritalin or Adderall for adult ADHD. ## Well, the best thing you can do is to make an appointment with a new doctor and not ask for any particular medication up front. You need to get in for an appointment first and then discuss your treatment options. However, since these are controlled substance medications, doctors do have to be careful about prescribing them, so you aren't going to find a doctor that will just be carefree and throw prescriptions at you. Learn more Ritalin details here. Learn more Adderall details here. Does anyone know of a doctor in this area that they can recommend? ## Looking for dr. in NE Indiana that prescribes Ritalin/adderall without doing pharmacy checks, and doesnt give yo...

inscription on side 1: pms underscored then 10 on side 2: 110 pill small and pale blue please identify ## That pill is a 110mg Ritalin Pill. Taken by kids and adults who have ADHD. It is legal is you have a prescription because it is an over the counter drug. If the person taking the pill does not have that condition, then it is mainly taken to have more focus and concentrate. Usually taken by high school and college teens to have a studying edge. ## That is a 10 mg pill, not 110 mg. Hello, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD my doc prescribe me Ritalin the pharmacy gave me the genetic brand Methylphenidate 20mg ER (LA) caps Mfc Actavis. The first day it was ok, made me feel a little more energy, more focus, but also kinda jittery, the fallowing days I didn't even feel anything other than some anxiety and loss of appetite, I was supposed to take them for a month but after taking them for 15 days I decided they were not doing anything for me, except making me want to take Xanax (which I am also prescribed for anxiety) I normally don't take it unless I really need it and just tiny dosages. Anyways went back to my doc. Told him Ritalin wasn't working for me and I wanted to try Adderall; my doc prescribe me Adderall XR 25 mg capsules. I fill my scrip at Walgr...
