Regestrone For Irregular Periods (Top voted first)

Hi all,

I'm suffering from irregular periods. I had a skip in my cycles for 2 months so i was advised to take Regestrone 5mg for 5 days (2 tablets a day). The course is over and even for the next 5 days I haven't got periods. How many more days do i gotta wait to get my menses?

Hi. I am 18yrs old. I have skipped my periods for the last 2 months. I do not have any kind of problems relating to mensturation. plz do suggest a medicine for getting regular periods.

I'm 23 years old and the last time I got my periods was in April... Then I took a medicine called regestrone (5mg) - 9 pills in total... Today is the 10th day on it and I still didn't have my periods. What more do I have to do?

My period was due on November 27th but I didn't get it so I consulted my doctor who advised me to take Regestrone 10mg for 5 days. I know I'm not pregnant for sure. It's been 3 days now after stopping the tablets and I still haven't gotten my period! Please suggest what to do?

I am 38years old. I have an 11 year old daughter. I was trying to get pregnant but did not succeed. I had intercourse using a condom on 7/1; five days after my period started. My last period was on 3/1. This month I did not get my period, but I did take regestrone. Will I get my periods?

I took regestrone on alternate days (5 tabs) as i had to travel. But I got my periods immediately. I had unprotected intercourse when I was around the 21st day of my cycle, but i still haven’t got my periods. Pregnancy test says negative. Please advise.

Regestrone (Norethisterone) is a female hormone that's marketed for use in normalizing the menstrual cycle, among other related conditions.

However, depending on when and how much hormone replacement therapy a patient receives v.s. how much the body really needs, expectations may not line up with the desired outcome. Therefore, I'd encourage your sister to consult her prescribing doctor (or gynecologist) for more information.

If your sister is deficient in naturally occurring hormones, this could be a reason why her periods have been absent(?) Albeit, upon closer evaluation, more appropriate recommendations can be made for her long-term health and wellbeing.
