RemTyme is an herbal supplement, touted to help promote better sleep.

It contains:

L-theanine ------------------------------------ 200 mg

Melatonin -------------------------------------- 2 mg

Magnesium (oxide) -------------------------- 250 mg

Chamomile extract (2% flavonoids) ------ 200 mg

Passionflower (4% vitexin) ----------------- 150 mg

Lemon balm ---------------------------------- 100 mg

Hops ------------------------------------------- 60 mg

As to whether or not it really helps or is used by astronauts, I cannot say.

Has anyone else tried this?

Thanks for adding those details, Pete. Many websites can make it hard to find the specific details, this will help make it much easier to understand for people that are considering placing an order!

Schweiz Health, which promotes REMTyme claims it has been tested by Harvard Medical School, Yale Medical School, US Dept of Health and Human Services, US Dept of Defense, and many other places. But I cannot find any evidence of these tests online. Do they exist?

Verwon Says:

Well, if you can't find the evidence, then I would have to guess that it really does not exist.

It is also interesting to note that several of those departments, such as the Defense Department have nothing, whatsoever, to do with testing medications.

Others, such as the medical schools, only do studies on approved medications for the most part, they do not usually test supplements and over the counter products.

So, I will reiterate what I have previously said, it is not actually proven to help with anything.

Thanks for the info on REMTyme. I was skeptical and just went online to check to see if their claims could be substantiate. I don't think I'll waste the time. By the way, isn't it false advertising?

Verwon Says:

Sleepless, I have no idea on the laws for false advertising, not my area of expertise, but it should be fairly easy to look it up, if you want. I am sure Google will pull up a ton of information on it.

Most places, however, usually get around it by just stating that their claims are not substantiated by the FDA and etc.

Here's some info:

If astornauts took Remtyme and it worked, why does a customer have to try it for a month or two to see if it works. I am sure astronauts needed it to work right away!

Kenneth, this site is not the company that makes this product. this is an information only website. To get a copy of their guarantee, you will have to contact them.

Caroleena, I have found no information to substantiate any of the studies they claim have been done, nor to prove that astronauts ever used it.

Twinkle Says:

I Ordered 3 Remtyme by telephone and was told I would receive s free one for every Bottle makinf 6 in all. I was also told that i qualified for a complimentary product to be taken in the morning and that i could try it for 16 days free of charge..
I received only 3 bottles of the Remtyme.
Both my husband & I tried it — the first two nights of taking the product, but since then, it has caused both of us problems, my husband experinced a 'Hangover' type of situation, I myself, Reacted just the opposite to what is promised. I am awakw all night — literally — then during the day am like a zombie. Needless to say both of us have stopped taking it. I have 'phoned to request the return of my money but have only been able to leave a message to which I have received no response

I live in UK and rang the freephone number, in answer to leaflet that said risk free trial of REMTyme, InitialIy by the wording I thought a free trial. Please note with a risk free trial the company then has your credit card details!!!!!
I decided that in view of having been caught out badly in a scam 'free trial trial' from another company I'd take no chances. I'm not saying that the company and product is not excellent - they may be totally superb and excellent - but NO, not for me!
The company that cost us and many many more are the company that offer free trials of Acai Optimum, and another selling 'Kurzyme', both scams in my opinion. The first product mentioned being a total scam and actually fraudulant. Go to:http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/acai-berry-pills-c207784.html
Best wishes, JohnnyE

Your product does not work. I never received an invoice or any other clue to the cost of REMTyme. The amount posted to my credit card seems excessive.

It appears from the comments above that my assessment that REMTyme doesn't work as advertised. it seems that your offer of a free trial also doesn't work.
