Peach colored pill with PER and ES print

Can someone identify this pill for me? It is oval shaped, peach colored, and has the letters PER on one side and ES on the other. It is smooth but not in a capsule. ## Hi Syd, You might want to try contacting Par Pharmaceuticals (at 1-800-828-9393), as the pills they make have the closest matching imprint I could find to your physical description (e.g. having the word "PAR" spelled out on a light orange oval pill). If you don't mind my asking though, whereabouts did you find this pill? Or was it something that you ordered off the internet; brought back from a health food store and accidentally got mixed up with other pills; etc? I think any additional clues or inside info as to how you came about it could potentially point our search efforts in a more narrow direction. Does ...

oblong white pill with br and per

Found a white oblong pill with "PER" on one side and "BR" on other. I have searched online and cannot seem to find out what it is!!! ## did you ever find out what it was? I found some of them too. ## There's a manufacturer by the name of Sanofi-Aventis, who puts the letters "BR" on their pills in black ink. I would encourage you to try and contact this company directly just to see if they at least recognize your pill imprint. The manufacturer's phone number for product inquiries is 1-800-633-1610 or you can also reach them via email at: contactus.sanofi-aventis.us/customerInformation.aspx Please post back if you happen to get any answers out of Sanofi-Aventis. I haven't come across any closer matches here on this site. ## Did anyone figure out what th...

white oblong pill with per on one side and BR on the other

i found gthis pill today: it's white, oblong as has the words PER on one side and BR on the other side. I'm on pain medication and I really need to know what it is. Thank you, ## Hi Rita, From what I could gather, someone in another discussion thread here was able to identify it as Percogesic, which is said to be used as a mild to moderate pain reliever. Ref: Discuss/oblong-white-pill-with-br-and-per-293994.htm Unfortunately when I research the name Percogesic I seem to come up with two different medications... One reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen + Phenyltoloxamine, while the other lists Magnesium Salicylate Tetrahydrate 580mg. Either way, both are indicated for pain relief, but you may want to verify this with a local pharmacist just to be sure. I hope this h...

Percogesic - An Excellent Alternative For Pain

I have used Percogesic throughout the years for everything from nerves to toothache. I highly recommend this product trial BEFORE using opiates for pain. The only side effect I found, was that it can make you very sleepy. It can be purchased over the counter and will NOT produce withdrawal symptoms. Like all products containing acetaminophen, it should be only taken as directed.

Does Percogesic interact with Methadone

Hi, I'm trying to find out if I can take over the counter Percogesic with my methadone or if there are any drug interactions? I don't want to put myself in withdrawals. It says it's a NSAID. ## Percogesic and Methadone can both cause sedation, so it would best not to take them together, unless your prescriber approves. The FDA warns that Methadone is an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

interaction, if any, between these drugs

Can I take Percogesic and Diclofenac 75mg together ## Hello, Erin! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these two medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. The FDA classifies Diclofenac as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Percogesic is used to treat aches, pains and congestion. Its typical side effects may possibly include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Dologesic DF availability

Percogesic changed its formula so now it is pretty much useless for those of us it helped in the past. But you can still find Dologesic DF that has the same Phenyltoloxamine ingredient as the old Percogesic at Llorens Pharmacuticals. A little pricey but it beats the alternative of suffering. Hope this can help someone. ## Yes but Llorens doesn't sell most of their products to the public, as far as I can tell. Are you saying you were able to buy Dologesic as an individual from this company?

Percogesic and Aleve

I recently bought percogesic for a severe back injury as instructed by my doctor. He also told me to take aleve. Does this mean I should be taking them both or just one or the other? I tried just the percogesic annd it didn't help much. Is it safe to take them both at the same time? ## Hi amanda, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between the active ingredients in Percogesic and Aleve. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. That said, "in my opinion", it is safe to take these medications together, since they are not reported to interact with each other. As far as dosing goes, I would continue what your doing and take both as prescrib...

generic of percogesic

peach colored. Used to be sold at Walmart. Goldline was the manufacturer. ## The current formulas of Percogesic contain Acetaminophen and Diphenhyramine, it is used to relieve pain, fever and allergies. It is still available for sale online, but to find a generic, you would need to find something that contains those 2 ingredients or buy separate products that contain them, such as Tylenol and Benadryl, or their generic/store brands. Are there any comments or questions? ## They are sold a Freds over the counter and Wal mart behind the counter!! They work better than anything else out there!!! ## The "Percogesic" name brand is sold @ Walgreens and they have the regular strength; 325mg and the extra strength: 500mg. Both retail for $9.99.

Where Can I Purchase Phenyltoxoamine

This was an active ingredient in Percogesic, which I found very helpful alternating with fiorcet for migraines. The formula has changed to benadryl and tylenol. If possible, I would prefer to purchase only th pheyltoxoamine with no tylenol. ## I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. I am also not aware of the any products on the market that only contain the Phenyltoloxamine. The ones I see listed as still being available in North America, such as Novagesic and Pain-Gesic all contain the Acetaminophen. Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist?
