I am 57 and my doc has put me on omee for ulcers. Can u tell me if omee also helps with pain? My doc gave me a one week dose for ulcers. I notice it also helps me with pain around my ankles. I am on artherxin for pain. What do I continue with?

No, it doesn't do anything to help with pain. It contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by your stomach.

ulcers are caused by a bacteria infection knock out the infection to cure ulcers. I do not remember the name of the bacteria involved

For the ulcers, take some baking soda (1/4 teaspoon) in a glass of water. It does wonders and relieves pain. Take it several times. It works on the bacteria which is the cause of pain.
