My wife is suffering from loose motions that have been very watery since yesterday. Showed her Doctor who prescribed Ofloxacin ornidazole plus acidity tablets and lomotil tab SOS. Even after this she is having loose motions. Doc says it will take three days. What should I do to prevent her loose motions?

i am recovering from shigella and capibactor infection and hepiititis A After 3 mts it has not cleared.still abominal pain,swoll;en belly and cant eat much.i am in uk and the doctors are not helping me. i had diarrhoea n doctor prescribed me to take orizin tab..once i take within 12 hours i had my lips,gum and tongue swollen and itching.i cnt sleep at night even.i had only a small amount of carbohydrate food.may i know the reason...shall i discontine using the antibiotic or still go on with it.if it becums resistant then..i took only one tab at bed time. ## Hello, Mandira! My 1yr old son has been prescribed Ofloxacin suspension for watery Diarrhoea that he has been suffering from for the last 4 days. Ofloxacin has been banned in the US for its "reversible & irreversible injury to the musculoskelital system in children" as one website said.What do I do? Is it of any use in diarrhoea?
