Nostrilla - what happened to it?

All of a sudden Nostrilla has disappeared from the shelf of my CVS (which is the only place locally that I was ever able to find it). Online sites have is listed as out of stock. Was it discontinued, recalled, or what? ## I believe certain batches of Nostrilla were recalled due to a concern over contaminated water being used. I can't find it either. ## That is correct, there was recall on the Nostrilla 12-Hour Nasal Decongestant Spray back on September 20, 2011, due to the potential presence of a microbial contaminant. It contains the active ingredient Oxymetazoline and it is used in several similar products that you might want to try, as an alternative, until there is a new supply of Nostrilla on the shelves. They are listed as being Afrin, Sudafed OM, Dristan, Vicks Sinex and Muci...

The problem is, it makes many people's noses swell and burn for about 20-30 minutes and doesn't work as well. This Petition is to see is we can make our voices heard and help bring back a product many of us have used and loved for years. a petition link is below. ipetitions.com/petition/bring-back-original-nostrilla ## Based on my research, The new Nostrilla formula contains Hydrochloric acid and Chlorhexidine, a topical antiseptic that has been proven to cause irritation. nostrilla similarity

Great news!!!!.....Ihave found something that works just as well!!!......I found it at Walgreens and it' s cheaper......it is a Walgreens brand called ANEFRIN Nasal Spray extra moisturizing 12 hour pump mist!!......since Nostrillahas been pulled I have tried about 10 different brands and THIS ONE WORKS!!!......and is cheaper!!!!......Good Luck!! ## I have had great results from using Afrin Nasal Spray with a stuffy nose from being sick. Clears it up almost instantly! The active ingredient in Anefrin and Afrin is Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05%, so I'm sure they are just different brands; but it works wonders. If anyone is looking for more information about Afrin spray, you can follow the link below: I hope this helps!

Nostrilla

can't find were can i get it . ## Unfortunately, there has been a recall on the most commonly sold version of this product, due to possible contamination, so it is currently out of stock in most places, until the company solves the problem and manufactures a new supply. It contains the active ingredient Oxymetazoline and it is used in several similar products that you might want to try, as an alternative, until there is a new supply of Nostrilla on the shelves. They are listed as being Afrin, Sudafed OM, Dristan, Vicks Sinex and Mucinex Full Force. Are there any other questions or comments?
