New Xanax Breckenridge Pharma Best Xanax Vs Greenstone Xanax (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Updated

Hey everyone,

I just saw that there is a brand new line of generic xanax alprazolam in .25mg, .5mg, 1mg, and 2mg tablets that are newly approved generics for alprazolam xanax. the 2mg are legit made pharma rectangular bars imprinted b707 and shape is very similar to brand name (greenstone) front side says B 7 0 7 and the back is blank and has a curve up like brand name and greenstone. I am hoping to hear some feedback on these generics. they are dispensed by Breckenridge pharma but manufactured by centaur pharma which I believe is in China. Not sure. They again are Breckenridge Pharma Generic and blue bars with very similar shape to brand name but instead of white are blue. I believe these to be the very first legit pharma made alprazolam xanax bars ever made in blue. I am curious if anyone has tried any of Breckenridge centaur made generic xanax alprazolam and how they would compare it to other generics. I am going to search for the ingredients in it soon and compare them to the other generic ingredients but a new generic xanax bkue bat that is legit pharma has peaked my interest. any feedback would be great. there are very few images of this companies new xanax and alprazolam online but they go as so:

.25mg b 704
.5mg b 705
1mg b 706
2mg b 707 blue bar

any feedback would be great this is our first ever legit blue alprazolam xanax bar new! would love some feedback on these!

Re: donnaC (# 165) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Donna, this is from an earlier post of mine (#80 I think). I used this service and they were great!

Yep, Greenstone has a Locator Service, and it sure worked well for me! They have an app (Greenstone Locator by Pfizer Inc) you can download to find local pharmacies or you can call their Locator Service directly at 1-888-222-8588 (see website: greenstonellc.com). I called instead of using the app and they got back to me with a pharmacy the very next morning.

Unfortunately Dava Pharmaceuticals was acquired a few years back by Par Pharmaceuticals. I know this because until just recently, Par Pharmaceuticals decided to discontinue manufacturing their generic Xanax entirely, as well as a large portion of their prescription drug catalog for reasons I assume to be a tactical effort to reduce their involvement and liability In the incredibly and increasingly disjointed, fragmented, and missinformational dialogue about essentially all drugs currently taking place. Also due to people not being educted well enough about the true issues involving these medications; when parents hear of a high school age child who has OD'd on a prescription medication, it is often followed by a demand for legislation to at least severely limit the prescribing practices of the med, when this ultimately has truly no effect on reducing accidental overdoses, but makes it more difficult for people who posses a medical necessity for the drug to get it, so patients sometimes and more oftenly look towrds the black market. Now all of that aside. I was prescribed 2mg Alprazolam twice daily made by Par Pharma (Essentially Dava) and they were essentially exactly the same and just as effective as it's predecessor. However now that they are off the market I've been desperate to find a good alternative. My Pharmacy first tried me on a blue colored 2mg x 2 alprazolam manufactured by Breckenridge Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Centaur Pharma of Mumbai. It was terrible to the point that if someone told me they were fake, despite being filled at my Pharmacy, I would have believed them

Re: Kristy (# 457) Expand Referenced Message

I was on Breckenridge 1mg for years and it was the best one for me. Now that it’s been recalled idk which one to go to. I tried Aurobindo for a week and hated it, I’m on Sandoz now and it’s ok but it takes twice as long to kick in and I can tell it doesn’t seem to be as effective (but I’m only on my 5th day). Idk, I heard Greenstone is good I might try that one. I’m just so used to the Breckenridge and how fast it kicked in and actually worked!

Re: Sarah (# 465) Expand Referenced Message

I have taken Breckinridge.25 as needed; usually just one at night; Have used this brand for about ten years. And now that it can’t be found, I have both Activas and Aurobindo. So far they just don’t seem to work like Breckinridge and that upsets me. I’ve researched and can’t seem to find why Breckinridge was recalled. Pharmacists at CVS don’t have any answers . So frustrating. When I call around to different pharmacies, many don’t want to talk to you about it.

Re: Sandy (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

Greenstone went back to its great original formulation in October 2017 they actually are better than Sandoz, as they are exactly the same active and inactive ingredients as brand name pfizer. Everyone has their preference but greenstone is best generic. It is identical in chemical make up as brand name xanax. Sandoz differs highly in its makeup bit are good but Sandoz also are the first pills to be fake pressed. I can order sandoz any time but always get greenstone as it equals 100% to brand name pfizer.

They don't make Teva Alprazolam. Only in the odt alprazolam formulation. Thought you would know this.

Re: Jfame (# 22) Expand Referenced Message

I've read on this forum that smaller pharmacies are more prone to order from a specific manufacturer. However, Kroger just ordered Xanax for me. CVS is the worst here. If you have Krogers, try them.

Re: Nick (# 21) Expand Referenced Message

Agreed. Mylan products are garbage no matter which medicine, with very rare exceptions. And thank you brother, this is the feedback I needed to hear. I currently have requested greenstone for my preferred generic, but when i started this thread I needed a comparison and you provided just that. Thank you. I will stick to my greenstone at this time. If they are right up there with greenstone (which is surprising as they are made in india but they can manufacture both high quality and low quality). Thank you brother, just what i was looking for. A direct comparison with breckenridge by centaur compared to greenstone. Thanks!

so what is everyone’s experience with the new 2mg Breckenridge Generic version of Xanax. I usually receive Sandoz or Greenstone and am scared to take the risk of getting a months supply of Breckenridge without more opinions. Are they better equal or crap like Par and Mylan?

Re: EDDY (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Sorry, Eddy, Martin is not wrong (for some things I can also vouch for). Being a controlled drug, if you get stuck with a generic that doesn't work for you, trust me....you will remember that experience and that manufacturer. Greenstone is an "authorized generic drug," which means it has exactly all the same ingredients as Xanax and more than like, manufacturer as the same exact assembly line. The other generics go through the FDA as an abbreviated new drug application, using Pfizer's clinical trial results, but they do not have to have the same inactive ingredients. Not sure if that is what makes the difference with various generics, or not. I know the bioequivalence of all ANDAs has to be the same as the brand name (Xanax) but not sure about the half life, and definitely know the inactive ingredients do not have to be the same.
In short, if it's not an authorized generic drug, you are always taking a risk. You get stuck with a batch that you can't tolerate, or it doesn't work as well as brand, and you are screwed. The nationwide database keeps track of alprazolam and it's almost impossible to get a new script to replace the crap you have in hand.
I have been going through hell for the last week with my new doctor and their office just totally f'in up the script I need for Greenstone (pharmacy will not fill with/order Greenstone unless the doctor puts it on the script; wasn't like this years ago). Right now, I have a temporary order of alprazolam from CVS, Breckenridge, and I really hope it is good. Trying to get the Greenstone has become way too difficult.
Just a suggestion, don't point fingers if you haven't been there. It sucks.

You think and believe whatever you want to believe. You just are not worth my time and energy. Good luck to you. Conversation ended. (Well, you can keep spewing whatever; I'm done trying to ... communicate? ... with you.)

Re: Annmarie (# 67) Expand Referenced Message

I was talking to Eddy because he made a comment about how expensive the brand was when it came out many years ago & I said it's still very expensive. I take the generic made by Greenstone which is the brand I think you're talking about.

Re: goozer (# 77) Expand Referenced Message

Yep, I have had Greenstone 0.5mg and, just recently from CVS, Breckenridge 0.5mg. The Breckenridge was good, but I am still partial to the Greenstone. It seems to work a little faster and work a little longer than the Breckenridge. I was shocked (or embarrassed...) when I contacted Greenstone's Locator Service to try and find the Greenstone alprazolam without having to wait for my mail order to get it for me, and the Greenstone Locator Service made some calls and then informed me that the RiteAid 5 minutes from my home had it. LOL doh... RiteAid is not a "preferred pharmacy" with my insurance, so I hadn't checked with them recently. Even as a non-preferred pharmacy though, it only cost me a couple of dollars more to go with RiteAid instead of CVS, which is a preferred pharmacy.

I called instead of using the app. They were closing soon, so they took my information down and said they would do some research the following morning. They called by around 9:00am the next day with the RiteAid pharmacy 5 minutes from my home. They actually called RiteAid to be sure they had the medication and the quantity I need. I was very impressed!! Not sure if any other pharma companies have locator services, but I'm pretty sure I've noticed it at some other pharma websites.

Re: Martin (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

In reference to your post in 2018; as it's now a new year. Happy new year. Back to the subject at hand. I get the same qty as you and have been on them just as long or longer [no contest here] just saying- and I think that the b707 are too hyped and I myself have a rx of them. No thank you. I'd rather have my french fries back or my single G 3721 whites [greenstone].

I compare these with the newer line up of aurobindo pharmaceuticals Y/21 white 2mg bars as they both feel the same. Maybe they are as good as the r039 french fries but that's an overstatement lol.

People see blue 2mg and are like "omg these are so clean." Sure they look nice but you might as well scream "take my money." To breckinridge for making a cool looking generic. I'm not going to lie they do look mighty fine. What you stated above made me chuckle because it's your mind hyping you up :] Don't take offense, it's just obvious. Cheers.

Re: EDDY (# 91) Expand Referenced Message

Not fair. I could have passed away on this medication many times because I had the medication available to me. Taking your life on any medication is on you, not the medication. There are tons of meds available if that's the route someone wants to take. Don't blame alprazolam.

It sounds like you did exactly as I said - you discontinued use of a drug & not under a doctor's care.

Re: goozer (# 108) Expand Referenced Message

Hey Goozer, just curious...how do you know Greenstone aprazolam is manufactured in the USA? The Greenstone bottle only states that it is "distributed" by Greenstone in Peapack, NJ (which is Pfizer). I don't think that means it is manufactured by Greenstone in Peapack. However, even if it is not manufactured there, it is still exactly the same as brand Xanax, so I it is still "#1" in my book.
