Hello, LindyLynne! How are you?

Part of the problem here may be due to looking for a doctor to treat pre-existing chronic pain. If you call a new doctor and ask them about that, they're going to think you're a drug seeker and turn you away. He needs to just find a new PCP, without asking about that, once his records are transferred there and he goes in for an appointment, then the pain issue can be discussed and due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, he'll need to be referred by them to a pain management specialist.

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

This seems to be a all to common scenario these days. :-(

Patients being abandoned by their healthcare provider because they don't want to deal with chronic pain patients anymore and this all goes back is the CDC, the media, the DEA and all things coming together to persecute doctors treating chronic pain patients and the patients themselves.
