Mylan Pharmaceutical Adderall 20 Mg

My pharmacy changed the generic brand to this company Mylan - M A20. I don't feel like it works as well as the oval pill I used to take. (Sorry I don't know what brand it was). Is anyone else experiencing the same?

You are right... I have been on the 30mg tablets for years! It has gotten to the point that so many people take adds now days that I am used to calling ahead of time to make sure the pharmacy I am going to actually has the strength & quantity that I need in stock before taking it up there or driving around and driving around all day some pharmacies actually won't even tell you unless you're already in their system that you had it filled there before but that's just some pharmacies. I personally have never come across that problem but I know people that have. Anyways there is one certain kind out there that doesn't do ANYTHING for me. I have taken Adderall for 16 years since I was 15 years old. It is orange (yes the same orange as the oval ones) BUT round and kind of flat. I'm not talking about the round fatter peach ones, they're a bit thicker, just like the round pink ones. Me personally I like to stick to one kind. I like the orange oval ones but the bright or dark give you orange flat circle ones literally don't do anything for me, nothing at all. So whenever I have my script and I'm about to go have it filled when I call the Pharmacy to see if they have it in stock and however many I need while I have the pharmacist on the phone I always say that I need to make sure that they have a certain manufacturer because for some reason I was given _______ (mylan or etc) last time and I don't know why but that one affected me in a way that I did not like. Don't say it didn't work or wasn't strong enough, that won't work with them. What I usually say is I don't like to take it because it gives me nightmares like crazy nightmares and I don't like taking it because of that. So then they will look it up in their system and they can tell me if they have the TEVA or whatever in stock because the ones that I don't like are Sandoz US Inc. These r the WORTHLESS ONES. I believe it has something to do with the fact that they probably put more of the coating like the glue that holds the pill together instead of the actual amphetamine in the pill itself so it's like you're taking mostly glue instead of the drug which personally I believe he is probably more dangerous because when you're eating a lot more coating and 2 you're having to take twice as many or you know even more, and I know you said Mylan so you are probably talking about the XR or the capsules. So I can tell you I've taken those and they don't do anything for me either, but like I said before I take the 30's and I've been on them for years so I don't know but my advice to you would be the next time that you go I mean you're stuck with the script you have now he's going to have to deal with it but the next time that you take it to get it filled call ahead of time and talk to the actual pharmacist not a pharmacy tech. The pharmacist is number one. See if they have it in stock in the quantity and the dosage and number to ask him what the name of the same manufacturer is and if you want to make sure that you get the manufacturing company that you like, just go online and Google different manufacturers for time release 20 milligram adderall. That's how I found out about the name of the manufacturing company that I didn't like and to be honest the pictures that you see online and how much Adderall that some people have is insane, but anyways yeah that's the best way to do it. Just say that they gave you nightmares or something. I hope that helps.

It does not work at all for me it feels like I am taking a candy pill. Something is definitely wrong with this pill.

The Mylan MA20 generic Adderall 20 mg tablets are such a waste of money. Got them from Kroger and they increased the bloody price last month.

Now I have to do the research to find a decent generic replacement. So tired of calling pharmacies. Paying out of pocket and s*** is $120+ for 90qty. I'm not throwing my $$$ down the toilet anymore. Hell NO. Neither should anyone else.

Ditto. Had Teva/Barr Labs and in Feb 2018 CVS switched to Mylan 20 mg. They don't work near as well as the Teva 20 mg did. You can have your prescribing treater specify manufacturer on RX.
