Mometasone and joint pain

I was taking Mometasone for about 3 weeks for a sinus infection. I stopped about 6 weeks ago. Now I am experiencing joint pain and soreness, specifically on my wrists and hands. My back has also been feeling more sore than usual. Does anybody think it is possible that this is a result of the Mometasone? ## Hello, Alex! How are you? If you stopped taking it 6 weeks ago, then no, it isn't likely to be from the Mometasone, though it is a steroid class medication, most side effects typically wear off within a week or so of stopping it. Are you on any other medications? Did you take an antibiotic for the infection? ## I am not on any other medication. I was on an antibiotic ( I think it was Ampicillin ) for the sinus infection at the same time as I was given Mometosone to use.

I have a second degree burn and, although it doesnt hurt anymore my skin is pulled tight and is very dry. Could i apply this to my hand to replenish my skin in the burned areas? ## From what I could gather, Mometasone furoate cream USP 0.1% is a medium potency corticosteroid, indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Ref: Dermatoses is a general term used to describe any skin defect or lesion on the skin. So in that sense, it should be of some help to your skin.
