little white pill ## I located the pill you described to be Methylphenidate HCl. Methylphenidate is a commonly prescribed psychostimulant and is indicated in the treatment of ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and Narcolepsy, although off-label uses include treating lethargy, depression, neural insult and obesity. Methylphenidate is noted as a drug of abuse, due to it's cocaine-like effects and addiction. It's potency should not be ignored. So also, please be sure to take a look at the abuse factors when overviewing Methylphenidate. I am not an MD, but if you would like to view more details regarding Methylphenidate, including information noted above, please visit the link below... Do you have any more questions or comments...

SZ 790 on a Yellow Round Tablet

What is a yellow, round shaped tablet with SZ imprinted on one side and 790 on the other? ## The pill which you are describing has been identified as Methylphenidate 20 mg, a generic form of Ritalin. Related Thread: view_drug_submission.asp?Drug=sz+790&Page=146846 Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do... ## Been taking this generic brand of Ritalin for several years and wondering why it stopped having any or little effect on my ADD and also why it left my system so quickly (almost immediately). Thought it was a built-up tolerance. Recently discovered (by paying more than double price for the brand-name Ritalin) that this generic drug is far different from the brand-name one. The difference is acute and worth investigation.

alza 54not sure this is name of pill or co that makes them

browncilander shaped pill alza 54 printed on pill ## What kind of pill is alza54? Is it a barbituate? a prescription pill? What is it used for? My son doesn't take any medicine and I found this in his room. ## This tablet contains 54mgs of Methylphenidate, a generic for Concerta, which is primarily used in the treatment of ADHD. It is a stimulant and can be dangerous if used improperly or abused. Before freaking on your son, though, it is possible that one of his friends is on it and just dropped a pill? ## Also, if you only found one I wouldn't be TOO worried. One isn't enough to put him in danger, although talking to him about it is probably wise. Staying calm though is the best way to get the truth from him.
