I am taking nucoxia120. Now I got fever 102 I have rheumatoid arthritis. But my hip and chest joint pain is as it is. I was taking medrol 4mg. And because it wasn't that effective doctor gave me nucoxia120. But no sign of improvement instead I got fever. Is this the side effects of drugs ## Yes definitely it can be a side effect of nucoxia.......as it may cause flu like symptoms and increase joint pain in some people.i had the same experience.i suggest u stop the medication at once a and inform your doctor about the same

What are possible withdrawal symptoms associated with not completing a 4 mg Medrol Dose pack. ## Hello, Dan! How are you? It is best to finish the complete pack and taper off, as instructed. You can experience withdrawal symptoms if you don't, such as headache, diarrhea and muscle cramping. However, it could also involve your adrenal gland and become much more serious. Hi I have rheumatoid arthritis, and am suggested to take acera + rantac before food in the morning and night and dulane after food in the night everyday. When I have pain I am asked to take medrol and lofecam . weekly once folitrax 10 mg. I already had heartburn and after having lofecam and medrol I got severe heartburn and no sleep in the night. Passing motion after eating anything and stools have blood. Pls suggest.

I have Eosinaphilic Gastroenteritis and started slow on Medrol due to past experience with high dose Prednisone causing high blood pressure. After taking 4mg Medrol my BP was 149/99 within 12 hours. I am 33 very fit and work out regularly, I have no other health issues. Why would steroids cause such a drastic spike in BP? Is that medrol harmful during pregnency ## Hello, Bindu! How are you? Medrol contains Methylprednisolone, which is a steroid class medication and it's in pregnancy category C. There hasn't been anything to prove that it causes a risk, but there also hasn't been anything that proves that it's safe. Learn more Medrol details here. He is only making take the pack once. ## Methylprednisolone is a steroid class medication, not an antibiotic, so it does not cause your birth control to lose effectiveness. The actual issue that occurs is that the estrogens in the oral contraceptives may cause the blood level of the Methylprednisolone to increase, so it may not work properly and it could increase the risk of side effects. Who told you that it reduces the birth control effectiveness?

im trying to conceive and doctor advice me to take medrol once a day from CD 15 til next period. Im on my 3rd day over due. Im sure im not pregnant cause i dont have any signs and symptoms. My mother-in-law, age 63 has been prescribed HCQS 400 twice daily and medrol 4 mg daily for kikuchi's disease(autoimmune disease) and/or rheumatoid arthritis. The Dr. said this medication would continue all her life. 1. is it required for such a long duration? 2. what are the side-effects?

I am a 35 year old man. I desperately need some advice. Hopefully from someone who's been through this. I have a CAT scan tomorrow and I had an allergic reaction to contrast iodine. One side of my face became swollen. I told my doctor and they prescribed Medrol(the generic) for me to take to prepare my body from having an allergic reaction. I'm supposed to take 8 tablets(4mg each) 12 hours and then another 8 two hours before injection. I'm really terrified of taking so many and the side effects it might have on my body.
