Medical Marijuana And Methadone

I'm on methadone and would like to get a medical marijuana card. Is this possible, and if so will I need to lower my dosage? Please, any help would be appreciated.

anyway, things to consider are the methadone clinic's policy for marijuana. Methadone is a narcotic and is sometimes prescribed for pain. It is considered by some patients to be the best pain relief out there. However, methadone prescribed for pain is given in divided doses, for instance 10mgs 3 times or 4 times daily, unlike the one time daily dosage given at licensed methadone drug treatment clinics. The actual pain relieving properties of methadone wane in 5-6 hours. That is why methadone for pain management is given 3-4 times daily. (divided doses) This situation with clinic dosing and a pain suffer makes one a good candidate for MMJ therapy. First review clinic policy then bring your issue to the clinic medical director for his/her approval. Medical marijuana is approved in my state for several disorders, not just for pain issues. Patients must provide documents or sign a release of information to the marijuana card doctor showing that they have a qualifying medical condition (listed in state law) that makes them eligible to get a state medical marijuana card. Sometimes the marijuana card doctor just asks a few relevant health questions and approves people just like that. The MMJ doctors in this state do not take insurance and are on a cash only basis. They charge $150 in Montana, how much are they in your state.?

Here its $250 then 100 for next 2 visits. Here in NJ you must have a bona fide relationship with your doctor which is 3/4 visits only per se. Xo
