I am taking DIOVAN on vacation was sent LOSARTAN POT Is this the same medication?

Actually, no! They are in the same class of medications, but Diovan contains the active ingredient Valsartan, so while it is used to treat the same conditions and is in the same class, Losartan is not the exact same thing.
