My 62yro boyfriend is having muscle pains in shoulder, shuffling at night, exhausted, leg cramps, feet hurt, tingling, some memory loss, slurring of words and I am soooooooooo worried! I need testimonies, doctors articles against lipitor anything to prove to him it is stealing his health. People say he walks like an old man. His tendon snapped and he couldn't walk on his foot. He jerks when h e sleeps and I cry nearly every night because I need something, an article, someone to call him, something, a miracle to get him off this horrible drug. I have pics of him where his shoulders have changed and he looks so much older. joint pain in both elbows from taking 20mg of lipitor, I quit taking it may 22, 2009. Doctor say's it's not from the drug. I have been doing the same job for many years and all my problems started when I went on this drug. Being extremely fatigued, muscle aches. Slowly the tiredness has subsided. I can not believe this is not related to lipitor. My doctor has sent me to physical therapy cause the pain from elbow down entire forearms. Anybody have any suggestions on how long till it goes away. Small,, yellow, round pill with a FDC on it. I ordered Lipitor and received these pills. I want to make sure they are the same as Lipitor. ## I want to know as well ## Zivast is a brand name from India for atorvastatin, which is commonly sold in the US under the brand name Lipitor. You should be aware, though, that there are two potential problems with ordering your medications from a foreign source: 1) If the drug has an equivlent in the US then obtaining it this way is illegal. 2) Since these companies do not manufacture their drugs under the regulations of the FDA, there is really now way to be certain what you are getting.

colesteral - reaction to statens looking for sub for lipitor ## can zedia cause a decreae in platelet count. 121 before zetia and 76 after one year. what is the effect of low platelet count. ## It is not listed as a reaction, however it could be a very rare one that they don't list in the monograph. You might want to try asking your pharmacist for more information.

After two years on Lipitor my wife has a serious memory loss. Dr.'s can't explain it. I tell them I believe it's the Lipitor and they say it's not known to cause memory loss. I beginning to hear that it does. I have stopped taking Lipitor because of a few side effect problems (such as muscle pain). I have also been dieting to lose weight for the past year. Since I stopped the Lipitor my rate of weight loss has increased, from about 1 pound per week to 2-3 pounds per week. I am dieting by limiting calories and consuming low fat/high protein foods.
