well please can u send me for which the Levokast,Pankind-D,o2 tablets are used in brief. ## Hello, I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but I'll provide some information for Levokast below. I haven't been able to find any information for Pankind- D. Levokast (as levocetirizine dihydrochloride) is a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, developed from the second-generation antihistamine cetirizine. Chemically, levocetirizine is the active enantiomer of cetirizine. It is the R-enantiomer of the cetirizine racemate. Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine receptors. It does not prevent the actual release of histamine from mast cells, but prevents it binding to its receptors. This in turn prevents the release of other allergy chemicals and increased blood supply t...

The pill is white, round and has a capital R on one side, and the number 5 on the other side. It is not a small pill. The capital R almost looks like a capital P with a line coming off it to look like an R. I don't know if that's some kind of imprint. ## Hi Selina, The closest match I could locate is identified as Levocetirizine dihydrochloride (5 mg); which is used in the treatment of allergies. This pill has the same imprint of "R" on one side (of a score line) and "5" on the other; but is Elliptical / Oval shaped, as opposed to round. I know some people tend to regard something that's oval as round, so I thought best to double check on this one. For verification, the manufacturer of this pill is Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited. I was just prescribed Xyzal by an ENT doctor for my chronic sinus problems and for what he believes are allergy symptoms. The script says to take daily in the evening. Do I have to take this medication every day forever. Can I just take it like other people take antihistamines only when they feel they need them? This was a one time trip to the ENT so I don't want to call and haggle with him over this. ## The reason you are usually told to take it every day is for prevention of the allergy symptoms, but not it isn't really necessary to do so. Learn more Levocetirizine details here. However, if you've been having such sinus problems, then prevention is probably a very good idea, it will keep you from experiencing new symptoms and give time for your body to cover from the ones ...
