Spotting! Help

I started taking apri about 3 years ago and it worked great. Never had any side effects including spotting. I recently switched to lessina and I've been spotting for days and want to know how long this will last?

Which pill

If I start my cycle on Monday and want to start taking the pill on that day, I can't figure out which pill to take? ## You should start at the beginning of the pill pack, just like you would if you started on any other day. If you start taking them on the first day of your menstrual cycle, you should be protected from pregnancy immediately, however, starting at any other point requires using additional protection for the first 7 days. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can i get pregnant having unprotected sex while taking the sugar pills, after my period came and went? This is my first month of taking them. ## Not as long as you have taken the active tablets daily, without missing any. Even though it is a week where you take a placebo pill, the other active tablets work by preventing ovulation, so you are still protected, even during your period week. Is there anything else I can help with?

when will i be protected?

I just started taking the birth control pill Lessina. And I was wondering exactly how long it will take to become protected against pregnancy? ## how soon after does it take for lessina28 to begin protecting against pregnancy? ## Generally, you are advised to use a back-up method of birth control for the first 7 days, after you start birth control tablets. Lessina-28 is a type of birth control packaged to reduce or eliminate a regular menstrual cycle. The most common side effects experienced with Lessina-28 is breakthrough bleeding and headaches. You can read more about it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I'm on my second pack of Lessina28 and i'm taking a .1mg/.02mg dose. Is this dose too low for pregnancy prevention?
