Lercan
Updatedis lercan slow acting

To answer your question, Lercan (Lercanidipine hydrochloride) has a short plasma half-life of approximately 3 hours; but despite this, it is indicated to be intrinsically long-lasting.
I can't really paraphrase this as "slow-acting", since that may be considered different than "long-acting" and I am not aware if there is a difference.
I think the half-life of the drug is most important though, when considering how long it will be most effective in your system.
I hope this helps!
