Lannett Adderall Reviews (Page 6)

Updated

Today I picked up my 20mg x 2 daily adderall IR Instead of my usual adderall made by teva brand i was given a new type that I have never had before... It's supposedly a newer generic version from Lannett pharmaceuticals. It looks just like teva accept it's a lighter shade of peach color and it doesn't have that sweet flavor. It's more chalky like..its early evening and I decided to try one two hours have gone by and still nothing. Humm my question is has anyone else had the opportunity to try these newer version of adderall 20mg from Lannett pharmaceuticals? I will come back in a hour or so and give an update..oh i read a different blogpost and have read that some actually liked it better than teva brand but wished for the sweet taste but they claimed to like it so let's see what others have to say thx for your opinion.

Same exactly. I found that using GoodRx & Costco is a significant cost savings over insurance & Walgreens or CVS

June 2023, Lannett Co. Adderall (dextroamp-amphetamine) is ineffective! I took my first 20mg at 6am, usually kicks in about 3mins. after but no luck. Took a second at 7:55am and nothing! Called the pharmacy, they've noted my account not to dispense Lannett Co., generic adderall but that's all that could be done. Luckily I have a few of the Teva from my previous bottle. I have so many deadlines this month and I don't know how I'm going to make them! Super frustrating and disappointing!

This is literally the best review and explanation I have ever read about the varying effects of generic adderall, and I’ve read A LOT. Thank you.

The LANNETT CO Inc 20 mg light peach Adderall are complete junk. They do not work and make me feel a little off.TEVA is what works for me. I have been using Adderall for over 20 years.

I think you mean therapeutically equivalent, not bioequivalent. Since it had to pass bioequivalence tests to get approved. Don't think dissolving is the issue. To pass the bioequivalence standards, Lannett would have to break up as well as Teva. The problem is more likely the inactive ingredients and how involved with the active ingredient passing the blood brain barrier or not. Some may help, others may do nothing, still others may hinder it. Don't know the profiles of the inactive ingredients so can't point the finger at anything specific. But bioequivalence that is required for passing FDA testing is based on blood content of the API over time. And has to be fairly close. So it would have to be absorbed and pass the liver about as much for that to be true which negates it not breaking up well enough.

I do agree on trying to find a dose that is therapeutically as effective. I was not able to do so when I got switched to aurobindo from core pharma. Tripled my aurobindo dose and didn't work as well and wore off faster. Since less made it to the brain it seemed that there was more to affect the cardiovascular system. Which may be why some people have said aurobindo was all levo and not dextro, which technically isn't true, but can seem like it. Same deal with Sun pharma brand when getting switched to that. But individuals will have different experiences. Antacids should help in theory, but didn't seem to work for me in particular. But many have had very positive effects from it. Some people try to take it sublingually dissolving it under the tongue. Didn't help me with Aurobindo.

I had an allergic reaction and will NEVER use it again! TEVA is by far the best!

I've taken Lannett IR adderral for 2 days now instead of whatever the other generic is that i took for years, and it has no effect on me either. I hope my pharmacy will do what yours did and note not to fill it with that brand- hopefully that's not a switch they've made full time
