I found a pill in myhouse and I can not find anything online about it. it is for irrtiable bowl sydrone ## I believe the medication you are referring to is Bentyl, which contains the active ingredient Dicyclomine. The most common side effects are nausea and dry mouth. If you have any more questions or anyone has more information, please feel free to post.

I was taking this with medication for IC and was working well with other meds to help but about a month or so ago I was unable to get it any more. Pharmacist said that the plant burnt down.....Will this be back in production soon and if so when might it be available to the pharmacist again? Thanks so much ## Possible, but doubtful. They have been keeping me from a bowel resection for years and now they say you making them anymore. The Dicyclomine and others aren't working and they have to keep me semi stable with Lorazepam. Do you have any I could purchase or have sent to my CVS pharmacy????? I really need to get this under control and the Levbid( HYOSCYAMINE) is the only thing that has worked. Please help me! please help me i need to know ## Hi Kelly, Dicyclomine and Demerol are different from one another. Dicyclomine is a muscle relaxant used most commonly to treat IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome a.k.a. spastic colon). Demerol is an opioid analgesic (a strong narcotic pain reliever). Hope this helps!
